She was named Miss Italy in 1991 when she was just 16 years old, and has since made a living through modeling and acting. Costacurta retired from professional soccer in 2007, after spending almost his entire twenty-year career with AC Milan. He has the distinction of being the oldest player ever to play a game in the Champions League.

Soccer WAG and Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole is man's ultimate fantasy cheerleader. Cheryl is married to the Chelsea and England soccer player Ashley Cole. Cole was also voted "World's Sexiest Woman 2009" by the readers of men's magazine FHM. Nick McBoyle, managing director of www.sportingfix.com, the online fixtures service, which polled 3,000 men said: 'It would be great if we could actually get the girls together to shake their pom poms but for now it will have to remain man's ultimate fantasy.'

Soccer star David Beckham won substantial compensation for libel, after a British newspaper claimed he had "made a play" for a Hungarian model. Express Group Newspapers apologised for the story published in April in the Daily Star. They agreed to pay substantial but undisclosed damages, as well as his legal fees over the article, which claimed the football star "got close'' with model Mariann Fogarasy (in pic) after a recent AC Milan match in Hungary.

Former England football star Gary Lineker and lingerie model girlfriend Danielle Bux (in pic) are set to wed at the same spot on the Italian Riviera where he proposed last year. The couple would be tying the knot in Ravello - a luxurious, romantic getaway that has hosted many celebrities. The glitzy event at Hotel Caruso, a clifftop hotel and a former palace, is expected to cost £250,000, including flights, rooms and the honeymoon. Gary is said to have spent £110,000 renting out all 48 rooms in the hotel.
