NEW YORK: Tiger Woods' former classmate has dismissed the golfer's claim that he became a victim of racial attack in first grade.
Woods and his supporters has previously claimed that the playground at Cerritos Elementary School in Anaheim, California, was the scene of a vicious racial attack in 1981.
The golfer had claimed that sixth-grade bullies tied him to a tree on his first day of school, spray-painted him with the N-word and threw rocks at him - while his teacher "didn't really do much of anything."
Now, Richard Romero - a classmate of Woods in kindergarten and first grade, and his mother, Linda Kunishima, have defended Maureen Decker, the retired schoolteacher whom Woods described as indifferent to the alleged attack.
Romero has described Decker as a caring, vigilant teacher who would never have allowed such an incident to happen, reports the New York Daily News.
"No, never happened," Richard said when asked about the alleged incident.
His mother agreed.
"It has nothing to do with all the other stuff, the infidelities, I'd still be calling and saying it's untrue, that it never happened. She was very loving, very caring. It was a wonderful school." Kunishima said.
Tiger Who? Tiger Woods was once introduced to pop doyenne Christina Aguilera. “Oh, Christina, I love your music,” Tiger told her. “I have all your CDs.” Christina’s reply? “Sorry, I don’t know much about you. I don’t follow tennis.”
When golfer Camilo Villegas with his flashing rippling biceps burst on the scene in 2006, he attracted swarms of
screaming female fans and cat-calls were no infrequent event.
Another aspect of Camilo that warrants frequent discussion is the fact that if he can't see
the line of a putt properly, he won't hesitate to drop into a half-squat, half-pushup position to drop his eyes to
nearly green level. On a side note, if you've never tried getting
that low to read a putt, try it. It actually works.
Swede Henrik Stenson had no problem stripping down to take a successful recovery shot during the opening round of the WGC-CA Championship.
When his ball landed in the mud on the twelfth hole, Henrik had two options:take an automatic two shot deficit or play the ball as it lied. Never one to take the
easy way out, Henrik waded into the mud, but not before removing every bit of clothing, except his tighty whities.
"If you are saving a shot, that has to be worth taking your shirt and trousers off." said Stenson.

Literally the poster girl for sexy golfers, Gulbis has a best-selling calendar and made FHM Magazine's

bankable woman who never wins. She has earned $2.6 million in five years as a pro, but no trophies.
