Photographs have emerged of Australian cricketers Michael Clarke and Phillip Hughes drinking at a Melbourne bar well into the night on the eve of their humiliating Ashes series defeat at the MCG.
According to media reports, the duo was spotted drinking at the World Restaurant Bar on the third night of the Melbourne Test, which Australia went on to lose by an innings and 157 runs, helping England retain the Ashes on foreign soil for the first time in 24 years.
The pictures have raised some serious questions pertaining to the professionalism and discipline of Aussie cricketers. However, Test vice-captain Clarke has reiterated that he did no wrong.

"I don't blame any of the players for wanting to go and play," said Flower.
"But it is tricky because the schedules are so heavy. Rest is sometimes as important as the hard training we put them through, especially for our front-line attack. They have made themselves available for IPL but it is dangerous in terms of the risk of injury and shortening their lifespan," Flower was quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.
The England coach was, however, full of praise for his team's achievements over the last few weeks.
"People say I underplayed our win in 2009," he said. "But while we won a series 2-1 which was special in its own right and the guys were rightly proud of themselves, we are a better side now than we were then.

Coleen Mary McLoughlin (born 3 April 1986 in Liverpool, Merseyside, England) is the fiancée of Manchester United F.C. and England football star, Wayne Rooney. The media interest in Rooney has enabled Coleen to become a celebrity in her own right. She regularly appears in the English tabloids amidst accusations of doing nothing but shopping all day and frequently holidaying in sunny locations. She is therefore viewed by some as a quintessential "footballer's wife". She was also one of the more prominent WAGs during the 2006 World Cup.

Following recent activities on and off the pitch, Paddy Power have revised their odds on who will be the most snapped England WAG during the World Cup finals - with Abbey Clancy all the rage and Cheryl Cole on the drift.
Peter Crouch almost certainly booked his seat on the plane to South Africa with a brace of goals against Egypt at Wembley and that is good news for followers of his girlfriend Abbey, who has been cut to 5/2 for this market.
Cheryl, on the other hand, has been eased out from a hot favourite to 3/1 after splitting up with husband Ashley Cole, who is currently also sidelined with an injury.
David Beckham is not yet fully assured of a place in Fabio Capello's squad but WAG queen Victoria Beckham is still a 6/4 market leader here in anticipation of her husband getting the nod.
Wayne Rooney will be the first name on England's team sheet if fit and his spouse Coleen Rooney is a 6/1 chance, but Alex Curran is out to 16/1 after reportedly being told to stay at home until the semi-finals by Steven Gerrard.
This bet applies to individual photographs published in the UK editions of red top tabloids from the day of the opening ceremony until the day of the final.
Cheryl Cole, meanwhile, is 9/4 with Paddy Power to be seen attending an England match during the World Cup finals and 2/7 to snub the Three Lions' bid for glory.
With the Daily Mail reporting the Girls Aloud star has agreed to have counselling with husband Ashley desite their public separation, the Irish firm are also betting on her marital status at the end of the year.
Punters can get 10/11 the X Factor judge is still married, 6/4 she is divorced by then and 4/1 officially separated.

"But all the answers to these questions will stay in that room!"
Although the cast are sad to be saying goodbye to the franchise, they are left with a permanent reminder of the series with the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park opening at Universal Studios, Orlando, Florida.

Daniel Radcliffe - who plays the titular boy wizard - and Emma recently spoke of their sadness at the ending of the series.
Speaking before they finished filming, Daniel said: "I will be devastated when it's over. There is nothing I watch without it triggering a series of memories. Everything about the films is so linked to my life. At the same time, it is exciting. It is the end."
Emma added: "I feel like someone is dying. This kind of love and recognition is just incredible. It is also really emotional for me. I am proud

The better half of Aussie opener Shane Watson has signed on as a Cricket Australia ambassador in a move that CA hopes will get women talking about cricket.
It was only a few weeks ago that cricket was given a stark warning that it had lost touch with kids and women and needed a jolt to ensure it did not lose further ground.
Furlong, a regular WAG on the Australian cricket scene, has developed a love of cricket through her romance with Watson and also her job as a Fox Sports newsreader.
