Michael Clarke has quit Australia's cricket tour of New Zealand on the same day his fiancee, Lara Bingle, broke her silence
on the nude photo scandal.
Clarke, the team's vice-captain had left the team hotel in Hamilton on the eve of third one-day international
against the Black Caps and it was not known when he would return.
Bingle has announced she's suing AFL player Brendan Fevola over a nude photo she claims Fevola took without her permission.
Woman's Day last week published the photo of Bingle in the shower which was allegedly taken while she and Fevola were
involved in a secret affair in 2006.
Bingle, 22, has opened up in a magazine interview about the release of the photo, saying she has been deeply humiliated.
Her celebrity agent, Max Markson, says reports that she was paid $200,000 for the interview and photo shoot with Woman's Day were "false".

Golfing superstar Woods who broke his silence almost three months after it was revealed he had cheated on wife
Elin with a string of women has made his fellow players angry.
Ernie Els is angry that Woods' Press conference will overshadow the Accenture Match Play tournament in Arizona.
The South African said: "It's selfish. You can write that. I feel sorry for the sponsor.
"Mondays are a good day to make statements, not Friday. This takes a lot away from the golf tournament."
Accenture dumped Woods in December over his sordid private life.
Woods, 34, spoke in front of a hand-picked audience at PGA Tour HQ in Florida.
And another top player, who asked not to be named, said: "The first thing we all thought of is he is sticking it to
Accenture - and that the PGA Tour is part of it all. "It's like Tim Finchem, the tour commissioner, has lost his head.
"He wants Tiger back in the worst way and so he lets this go on."
Woods who addressed a small gathering of friends and a few tame reporters did not answer any questions.

Golf superstar Tiger Woods will break his silence on Friday (Feb 19), speaking publicly for the first time since revelations
of his marital infidelity launched a tabloid firestorm.
The 34-year-old is to speak on Friday morning from the clubhouse at the TPC Sawgrass, headquarters of the US PGA Tour
at Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
Agent Mark Steinberg said Woods would speak to a small group of friends, colleagues and close associates about his past
and what he plans next, as well as apologising for his behaviour.
Woods' long awaited public appearance will come in the middle of the WGC Accenture Match Play Championship in Arizona,
which started on Wednesday.
Accenture was one of the sponsors that dropped Woods after the scandal erupted around him in the wake of a mysterious car
crash outside his Florida home in the early hours of November 27.

The Olympics have changed a lot over the years, becoming a tough, competitive business where for many athletes a silver
medal represents a defeat.
But the Olympic spirit lives on, not least in the participants for whom just being there is what it’s all about.
They are the unheralded heroes of the Games – be it lugers from India or skiers from Africa and the Caribbean, their
biggest aim is to try to at least avoid coming last.
A popular example is 35-year-old Kwame Nkumrah-Acheampon (in pic) from Ghana, nicknamed the 'snow leopard'.
The former African safari park guide has big plans. At the 2009 World Championships the slalom racer finished the event
ahead of the last two competitors. He hopes to repeat that feat in Vancouver.

Manchester City are considering a dramatic move into cricket by buying an Indian Premier League team.
The club's mega-rich owners Sheikh Mansour (in pic) has an estimated family fortune of £500 billion believe their Abu Dhabi
base is perfect for a new team as the IPL continues its global expansion.
From 2011, the IPL will have 10 teams rather than the current eight - and the new teams could be announced as early as
next month.
Abu Dhabi's ground has staged one-day internationals with Pakistan, West Indies and New Zealand.
